Sleek soon-to-be-haul

Is this another MMS from my beloved sister? Oh yes, you bet! The other day she passed by Superdrug and popped in to see if anything on my wishlist was to be found.
Apparently she found three things for me. Sleek eyeshadow palette - oh so special, Sleek blush by 3 - Lace, and the Sleek contour kit.

Good lord, I long for these to land in lap so I immediately can go nuts and try them all!

Estelle & thild - face cream sensitive skin (review)

Estelle & Thild face cream sensitive
Estelle & Thild face cream sensitive

I simply adore this brand Estelle & Thild. This is a swedish brand and their philosophy is the following:
Estelle & Thild is a company seeking to improve and influence beauty. The Swedish skincare brand combines the highest quality organic ingredients with real effects and results. The company was founded in 2007 by Pernilla Rönnberg and is named for her daughters, Estelle and Mathilde, who also inspired her to develop the next generation of skincare.
The entire philosophy is based on pure content, which means using nature’s most exclusive oils and extracts to boost skin with vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids to create optimal results. In addition to offering excellent skincare, the company wants to protect the next generation, and each product is certified organic in accordance with strict Ecocert regulations.
Now, isn't that a great philosophy? I bought this fragrance free daycream a while ago when my skin was "all over the place". However, my boyfriend, who has some skinproblems himself, was in need of a sensitive and moisturizing cream and quickly this cream ended up on his side of the bathroomcabinet. It lasted him quit a long time and did help him. However, he probably needs to bring out the big guns to really eliminate his extremely dry skin. Me on the other hand, sometimes normal, sometimes combination, and sometimes dry found that this was to much for me. It really made my forehead, well everything but matte.

But I really want to recommend this product. First of all I love to promote swedish good brands that really keep up their promises. Second of all ecological and natural products really is the way to goo, as far as I'm concerned. I don't necessarily always want or need to buy ecological but I do think it's important to really be aware of the ingredients you are putting on your delicate skin.
This daycream is gentle and is said to restore the skin's natural balance and protective barriers. It contains, among other things, almond oil, soothing aloe vera and vanilla. I would higly recommend this product.

Grade: 5/5
Price: 245 kr
Buy: Kicks, Åhléns

This brand guarantiess:
  • Organic certification from Ecocert
  • Organic and natural ingredients
  • Certified Nordic production
  • Recyclable packaging
  • No animal testing
And they don't use:
Parabens, mineral oils, sodium laurel/laureth sulphate (SLS), urea, diethanolamine (DEA), triethanolamine (TEA), synthetic emulsifiers (e.g. polyethylene glycol or PEG), dyes or other unnecessary additives.

I love that they don't use mineral oils because I really dislike it and much thanks to Caroline Hiron never ever want to buy products containing that ingredient. A discussion about mineral oil will be another day!

Waiting for Boots

My sister is in Oxford, England, for a couple of weeks and since we don't have Boots in Sweden I gave her my wishlist. Then the other day my phone buzzt and I received a MMS from my sistah. She had visited Boots and bought some things from my wishlist. The photo above is her MMS and I'm sooo excited. Today my parents will travel to see her and in a week's time they will return with my Bootsorder. I just can't wait!
If my eyes don't fool me I think that what we have in the picture is nothing less than two Revlon lipbutters in sorbet and watermelon, one Burjois cremeblush and Collection 2000 illuminating touch diffusing concealer.

 Oh, the joy of make-up!

Thing I'm loving right now

This is the one nailoil one would ever need - Scratch nail food. I've never tried anything like it. Regular use really strenghtens my nails. I have the worst nails ever and I have tried everything to make them stronger. Nothing really worked. The nails kept on chipping and breaking until this little gem made it to my bathroom.
Now I have it on my desk at my office and whenever I have a real long phoneconversation I can put a little drop on each nail and massaging it in. Thus, my nails look great at the same time as something important got discussed over the phone.

You can buy it at Åhléns, scratch nails shop aswell as different beauty- and nailsalongs.
It's pricy, 180 SEK for 10 ml, but I have had mine forever! You put a little drop on each nail on one hand and then rup the nails together with the other hand. This tiny drop is enough for all ten nails!

Scratch nail food contains cold pressed sesame seed, myrrh and lavender and the smell is fresh and absolutely divine. And did I mention it works great with nailpolish aswell!

I just love this one. I'm would say I'm addicted!

Cover of the week

Anja Rubik / Vogue Russia July 2013 / Richard Bush

BAM! I adore this!

Vogue Russia is my absolute fav magazine of all times! I don't understand a word but it doesn't matter when the pictures are like dreams to look at! It embodies everything I love, need and crave. This cover is no exception. Anja Rubik is a gorgeous model and what captures me is really the hair. I have smooth fine scandinavian hair and my biggest dream is to have curly hair. Cause even when I curl it, it only lasts for like....minutes. And that's still after I've just a bizillion produtcs in my hair. I've tried everything but it seems impossible.

Today's wishlist

This months paycheck landed in my account today and the money is burning a hole in my pocket. There are loads of products I long for and the two above are no exception.

This two produtcs are the Ecoorganic facial serum and the ecoorganic facial oil from the Swedish brand estelle & thild.

Buy the serum here (425 SEK) and the facial oil here (375 SEK)

My go to blush

When Sephora came to Malmö I took a trip there with one mission. To buy coralista from Benefit. This blush has been raved about from almost every makeup-guru on YouTube so I felt I just had to have it. It's mine and it's a great everyday blush. The great sheen in it makes highlighter an unnecessary step in an everyday-routine.

This peachy shade goes with every eye-shadow and is never too much. I adore it!

Do you have a go to blush? Which one? Do tell!

My summerpicks from Isadora

When this summer came I abondoned my dark nails for vibrant, shocking summercolours! Therefore I went a little crazy on polishes from Isadora. I got this four colours.
From left to right:
713 - south beach, 756 - coral reef, 735 - heftiest hibiscus and 125 - glassy cerise.

Today I'm wearing the pinkredish heftiest hibiscus and I got a compliment from a colleague today!

Travel bag - Greece

This is my travel bag for makeup and skincare that I brought with me to Greece. I thought I'd walk you trough it all.
 Let's start with showeressentials.
L'oréal schampoo that is anti-breakage and repairing. When spending every minute in the sun, pool and the sea the hair can be quit damaged. I great repairing schampoo is essential for keeping shine in that hair. The cleansing conditioner from Wen, which I got in the Glossybox, was a great choice to really clean the hair and get all the chlorine out of the hair. At last I brought two minisamples of bodywashes. One from balance Me and one from Dr Brenner.
Then sunscreen (the most important product for my ridiculous fair skin).
Nivea sunscreen spf 30 for the body. Vichy spf 50 for the face. Cliniderm spf 15 for the face. Oil with spf 30 for them legs. Hawaiian tropic spf 15 (also something from a glossybox). Ofcourse I also brought an after sun spray from Nivea. The lips are something many people forget to protect in the sun and you can get the nasties blisters. Therefore I added two lipglosses from Clinque with spf 15. That way I was both chic and protected in the sun.
 Skincare!
When knowing I would spend one week in the sun I decided to go bananas on hydration hydration hydration. Facewash, facetoner and night cream, all from Biotherm and the Biosource/aquasource regime. For removing eyemakeup I choose the "lid + lash was makeup remover" from Bliss. Daycream of the week was a minisample (also received in a glossybox) from the Body shop - "vitamin E moisture cream". The eyecream was a no-brainer and my favourite eyecream "retinol eye care cream" from SkinPlan followed me to Greece.
This gorgeous litte minisample (recieved in a Glossybox) of hair oil from the hairbrand Maria Nila was a real lifesaver for my splitends in Greece. However, I wouldn't use it at home were my hair isn't in the sun and in the sea as often because the oil was real heavy and weighed down my hair.
