MAC pressed pigments + brush 215

Fr. v övre rad: Vanilla Diamond, Sweet Acting (repromote), Summer Honey, Lime Ice, Rock Candy, Pink Pepper
Fr. v. undre rad: Enlightening (repromote), Moth, Black Grape, Jet Couture (repromote), Damson, Midnight
Borste: 215 (ny)

MAC Pressed Pigments take eye shadows to Another level with advanced technology. Now in nine sophisticated new shades, go bold with the rich, blue colour of Vanilla Diamond or glamorous in stunning Black Grape. For a softer, luminous look try Pink Pepper or the glistening glow of Summer Honey.

Bobbi Brown - Rich chocolate eye palette

Better than a box of truffles - our latest palette for eyes features a rich array of chocolate-inspired shades for a seasonal take on Bobbi's classic neutrals. Includes a mix of textures including shimmery and sparkly hues, plus Bobbi's pick-of-the-palette, Rich Chocolate Eye Shadow - a deliciously dark color that doubles as an eyeliner too. Exclusively packaged in a mirrored compact with a glossy chocolate finish, plus a dual-ended brush for expert application.

AHHHHH! Ge mig!

Sleek soon-to-be-haul

Is this another MMS from my beloved sister? Oh yes, you bet! The other day she passed by Superdrug and popped in to see if anything on my wishlist was to be found.
Apparently she found three things for me. Sleek eyeshadow palette - oh so special, Sleek blush by 3 - Lace, and the Sleek contour kit.

Good lord, I long for these to land in lap so I immediately can go nuts and try them all!

Travel bag - Greece

This is my travel bag for makeup and skincare that I brought with me to Greece. I thought I'd walk you trough it all.
 Let's start with showeressentials.
L'oréal schampoo that is anti-breakage and repairing. When spending every minute in the sun, pool and the sea the hair can be quit damaged. I great repairing schampoo is essential for keeping shine in that hair. The cleansing conditioner from Wen, which I got in the Glossybox, was a great choice to really clean the hair and get all the chlorine out of the hair. At last I brought two minisamples of bodywashes. One from balance Me and one from Dr Brenner.
Then sunscreen (the most important product for my ridiculous fair skin).
Nivea sunscreen spf 30 for the body. Vichy spf 50 for the face. Cliniderm spf 15 for the face. Oil with spf 30 for them legs. Hawaiian tropic spf 15 (also something from a glossybox). Ofcourse I also brought an after sun spray from Nivea. The lips are something many people forget to protect in the sun and you can get the nasties blisters. Therefore I added two lipglosses from Clinque with spf 15. That way I was both chic and protected in the sun.
 Skincare!
When knowing I would spend one week in the sun I decided to go bananas on hydration hydration hydration. Facewash, facetoner and night cream, all from Biotherm and the Biosource/aquasource regime. For removing eyemakeup I choose the "lid + lash was makeup remover" from Bliss. Daycream of the week was a minisample (also received in a glossybox) from the Body shop - "vitamin E moisture cream". The eyecream was a no-brainer and my favourite eyecream "retinol eye care cream" from SkinPlan followed me to Greece.
This gorgeous litte minisample (recieved in a Glossybox) of hair oil from the hairbrand Maria Nila was a real lifesaver for my splitends in Greece. However, I wouldn't use it at home were my hair isn't in the sun and in the sea as often because the oil was real heavy and weighed down my hair.

A great highlighter - Benefit High Beam

Yesterday I got asked on Twitter for a tip on a great highlighter. I gave the woman two great choices. The second one was Mac's "shroom" which is an eyeshadow which is absolutely divine on the eyes. BUT it's also a great highlighter to put on top of your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose or wherever you want a little sheen.

The second choice was Benefit's "high beam". It comes in a glassjar in a liquid form. I adore it and use it almost every day. I bought the high beam on Sephora in Copenhagen, this was before Sephora opened up in Malmö. I also bought the benefit "bene tint" which is a cheekcolour also in a liquid form.

Both can now be found on every Sephora in Sweden, aswell as Sephora world wide.

The rules of cleaning brushes

Today it's sunday which means brushcleaning-day! I try to clean my brushes once a weak. I use normal hairschampoo and dip a little of the brush into the schampoo. I then swirl the brush round in my hand until all the makeup is removed. Then I rinse them thoroughly and leave them to airdry flat on a clean towel.

I find it most important to clean the brushes with which you use fluids or creamproducts. I also find that dirty brushes makes the final foundationapplication looks poorly and sometimes striky. It's also important to clean brushes with fluids and creamproducts in them because bacteria spreads more easily in these types of products than powderproducts.

Schampoo - water - airdrying lying flat - Voila! It's not much harder than that!

Bioderma - review

After raving about Bioderma in this post I thought it would be appropriate of me to do a little review of this godsend product.

This is makeup remover used by all the great makeup artist and loads of the supermodels that show us the latest fashion. This product was to be found in every french pharmacy and is for its size so affordable. This pink version is so sensitive on the eyes, remove the makeup easily and is fragrancefree. I do my makeup almost every single day and when I use a remover that needs more rubbing on the eyes, my eyes immediately goes teary and red.

What can i say? This products has it all and I will die the day it will be sold here in Sweden.

I give it 5 out of 5!
